Yes, but.

As a manager, your primary responsibility is to support your team. All your actions should align with this overarching objective, including writing code.

For instance, implementing features or fixing bugs will keep you connected with your team's codebase, aiding planning & evaluation.

Coding & reviewing code is also a great way to mentor individuals within the team.

Finally, working alongside the team "in the trenches" during crunch times is great for morale.

Your end goal should be to develop & unblock your team, and hands-on coding can be an effective tool to that end.
